How we spent our 4th of July.....

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here you go........
We spent the weekend with my brother Race and his family and friends on the La Cense Ranch in Dillon Montana
Race treated us to a great BBQ with the famous La Cense Beef. I am excited to experiment with some recipes using this 100% grass fed beef. We shared our Sweet Pork Salad and Fruit Pizza
Here is a gluten free version to the salad dressing I used

CILANTRO-LIME VINAIGRETTE

6 tablespoons oil (half olive, half vegetable)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small hot pepper, finely chopped (or to taste)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients in small jar. Shake well and set aside.

In case you thought the only thing we did today was cook and EAT..... Doug and I ran the Elementary school fun run with Parker and Alex....We all completed the 1 mile run. The kids did amazing. It was a great way to start the day.

Back to school...

My little baby girl , Alexandra or Alex as we like to call her is in the 1st grade . She is very much a RULE girl . She is super excited.

Parker is in 2nd grade .......He has lots of energy!!!!!!!!!
Can't you just see the excitement for the first day of school ? Easton or Rico as I call him is going into 8th grade yes ..... Top of the food chain at Sawtooth Middle.
For those of you who didn't know Kellan is a Senior this year, at Meridian High he is 6'5" and his 1966 Ford is his favorite thing.
